Sorrowful Mystery For Tuesday Devotion On the Rosary
And of the Son, And of the Holy Spirit. Amen. On the crucifix of the rosary recite The Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by The power of the Holy Spirit And born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, And is seated At the right hand of the Father. He will come again To judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, The Holy Catholic Church, The communion of Saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body And life everlasting. Amen. On the first large bead of the rosary recite Holy be your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us today Our daily bread. Forgive us our sins As we forgive those Who sin against us. Do not bring us to the test But deliver us from evil. Amen. On each of the three small beads of the rosary, for an increase of faith, hope and charity recite Full of grace! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you Among women And blessed is the fruit Of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, Now and at the hour Of our death. Amen. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is to be handed over to sinners. 42Get up, let us go. See, my betrayer is at hand." 43Then, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived, accompanied by a crowd with swords and clubs who had come from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders. 44His betrayer had arranged a signal with them, saying, "The man I shall kiss is the one; arrest him and lead him away securely." 45He came and immediately went over to him and said, "Rabbi." Then the veil of the temple was torn down the middle. 46Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit"; and when he had said this he breathed his last.
